Busted Knuckles Auctions is proud to present this very cool 1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible.  This Cougar is dressed in White with beautiful white vinyl interior and smooth operating white convertible top.  The reserve is low and this car is priced to sell.

The second generation Cougars featured a distinct look over earlier models with exposed quad headlights and center grille. The 1972 Cougar introduced larger bumpers, and was built on a Mustang chassis.  Front disc brakes were standard for 1972. Stock suspension included coils up front and leaf springs in the rear, with gas shocks all around and front/rear sway bars.  This example is riding on torque thrust wheels and new low profile tires.

Inside, the white and black interior shows very clean with the stock gauges and stock steering wheel.  The white upholstery is super clean with no rips or tears on the seats or door cards. The odometer shows 61,840 miles and is said to be accurate.  The H-code 351-2V Cleveland V8 is clean and cruise ready.  The H-code 351 came equipped with a cast-iron crankshaft, intake manifold, and exhaust manifold, and features steel connecting rods and aluminum pistons. Extras on this motor include aftermarket MSD Ignition.
