THIS CAR IS FINISHED IN TUXEDO BLACK EXTERIOR WITH BLACK INTERIOR. WITH IT’S BRUTE 427 MOTOR AND 4 SPEED HEAVY DUTY TRANSMISSION THE 69 CAMARO ZL-1 WAS A FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH ON THE DRAG STRIP. THIS IS PROBABLY THE FINEST EXAMPLE OUT THERE.

The block in this car is a new ZL-1 427 aluminum block made from the (original) ZL-1 molds.  In 1998 GM used the original ZL-1 block mold (but used today’s technologies and aluminum) to reproduce only 200 of these new blocks. The ZL-1 block in this car is extremely rare and is one of the 200 “updated” blocks poured from the (original) ZL-1 mold found in 1998 in storage at the Winters Foundry. This ZL-1 block has the correct “Winters Snow Flake” stamp and date code (ML for ID Code…ML = 427 ZL-1 with 4 Speed)

This block is believed to be the only one of the 200 “updated” blocks with the correct “Winters Snow Flake” stamp
