Up for auction is this very cool and fun restored 1981 Jeep Cj-7. This Jeep was professionally frame off restored in 2002 but has only been driven 1500 miles since. It is finished in olympic white with saddle interior. Upgrades include a lift kit with 35 inch tires on custom wheels. 1981 was the last year Jeeps could be optioned with the 304 AMC V8 motor which is featured in this fine example.
According to the seller this Jeep was stored indoors in a personal collection in North Carolina and only driven occasionally. Seller also states this Jeep has a very strong motor and runs and drives great. The body undercarriage is also said to be free of rust.
The interior is refinished in saddle vinyl with NOS high-back front seats and a reupholstered rear bench, full-length carpeting, and a roll bar wrapped in matching vinyl.
The new crate 304 power plant is said to have only 1500 miles since restoration and is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. Other under the hood options include power steering and an Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. The exhaust features headers that exit to custom side pipes.
